DARWINPW REALTY/CORFAC INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTS SELLER IN NAPERVILLE BUILDING SALE

DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International Vice President Jeff Blake recently represented Phoenix Closures, Inc. in the sale of its former corporate HQ and manufacturing facility at 1899 Highgrove Lane Naperville, IL to Amerikoa Ingredients. The natural and sustainable ingredients distributor is growing and relocating from its previous location in Melrose Park.

“Amerikoa is expanding both Midwest manufacturing and distribution capabilities. The latest acquisition will also serve as our new HQ, adding nearly 30 new local jobs,” says Matt Dyer, president of Amerikoa Ingredients. “The new location will increase our capabilities to service our growing customer needs with improved logistics access to intermodal, trucking, and on-site rail.”

The 113,124 square foot building is located on a 10.36-acre site. It features active BNSF rail, 13,000 Amps of power and an SQF Food Certified Site rating. Clear heights in the building range from 16 to 24 feet. The site is located near Route 59 and I-88, as well as in proximity to the Route 59 Metra Station, giving the new building users easy access to transportation for both products and employees. Built in the late 1970s, the building offers low DuPage County taxes.

Todd Heine of Colliers International represented Amerikoa Ingredients in the transaction.
