DarwinPW Realty/CORFAC International represents building owner in new lease in East Chicago

Principal Ed Wabick and Associate Marc Hale represented the building owners, The Missner Group and RealTerm Logistics, in their lease of 51,318 square feet of space at 4400 Homerlee in East Chicago, IN, to Mazzella Lifting Technologies Inc. The new tenant is a manufacturer and supplier of industrial lifting products and is relocating from their previous location in Romeoville to a newly constructed building that offers tax savings in Indiana.

The 249,600-square-foot building was completed in 2022. It sits on 14.5 acres and features 20 exterior docks, 35 trailer parking stalls, and 286 car parking spots. It has 32-foot clear height and offers easy access to I-90 and I-80/94. After sitting vacant for years and then undergoing extensive environmental remediation, the site became the first-ever spec industrial building in East Chicago. Its neighbors include FedEx, Walmart, Citgo, BP, and ArcelorMittal.
