    (Elmhurst, Illinois – April 8, 2020) – Darwin Realty/CORFAC International’s Rollo Dace has been selected by the Village of Franklin Park to market two vacant industrial buildings they have acquired through forfeiture. The buildings, located at 9800 Franklin avenue and 9150-58 Grand Avenue, will require extensive improvements to bring them up to the Village standards. However, they are located in a prime location near O’Hare Airport and offer value for intrepid investors looking for properties.

    CHICAGO, August 17, 2017 — Bridge Development Partners, LLC, has announced the sale of four industrial buildings totaling 491,010 square feet in Chicago’s O’Hare market. The portfolio sale price was $69,275,000. Concurrently, Bridge acquired a 48-acre land site in nearby Franklin Park, IL for $27M and was brokered by Jeff Provenza of Darwin Realty. Bridge plans to develop three additional buildings totaling 656,189 square feet.

    “In Chicago, and our other U.S. markets Bridge has had some success in developing state-of-the-art distribution facilities in infill locations like O’Hare that are highly desirable to a number of different industrial users,” said Steve Groetsema, Principal and Chicago Market Officer at Bridge Development Partners. “It’s not surprising to see these facilities preleased or leased soon after completion, making them very liquid to investors, and enabling us to buy additional strategically located sites for development.” (more…)
