Sterling Spring Acquires Additional Building in Bedford Park
Darwin represents the buyer in 113,643 SF industrial building
(Elmhurst, Illinois) – Darwin Realty today announces that Dan Fanelli, SIOR of the firm has represented Sterling Spring Corporation in the purchase of a 113,634 square foot building on 3.68 acres at 7171 W. 65th Street in Bedford Park, Illinois.
Sterling Spring Corporation, a manufacturer of custom spring and stamping components, selected the building because of the 15-20’ ceiling height, 12,000 square feet of office space, heavy power, seven truck docks and three drive-in doors. Built in the 1960’s, this building is constructed of masonry and steel and offers parking for 100 cars.
“Sterling was expanding and needed a larger building,” stated Fanelli. “We were pleased to find this industry leader another location that met their needs and provided a great location.” The company has two other locations in Chicago and Michigan serving customers of various industries and geographical locations.
Fanelli of Darwin Realty represented Sterling Spring Corporation in the transaction and Jeffrey Locascio of Transwestern worked on behalf of the seller, JCBM Partners.
