Darwin Announces Two New Leases at DCT Business Center in Elgin
Elmhurst, Illinois – January 19, 2016 – Darwin Realty is pleased to announce two new leases totaling 291,000 square feet on behalf of DCT Industrial within DCT Business Center Elgin.
Darwin Principal Noel S. Liston and Associate Brendan J. Sheahan represented DCT in two long-term lease transactions to an international manufacturing company.
- 150,550 SF at 305-325 Corporate Drive
- 140,970 SF at 350-370 River Ridge Road
The manufacturing company was represented by Mike Fonda of Avison Young and Jimmy Cohoat of Summit Realty Group.
These leases follow more than 125,000 square feet in leases in mid-2015.
Darwin Realty worked closely with DCT Industrial in underwriting the acquisition and represented DCT in the purchase of the 1 million SF portfolio in 2013. Subsequently, Liston and Sheahan have worked diligently along with the DCT team to complete 10 new leases since the acquisition, working to bring the park towards 100 percent occupancy.
