Darwin REALTY/CORFAC INTERNATIONAL REPRESENTS AIR CARGO HANDLING SERVICE IN NEW O’HARE AREA LEASE
Darwin Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Jeffrey J. Provenza and Associate Todd Hendricks represented Alliance Ground International, LLC, in its new lease of 253,000 square feet at 1717 Busse Road in Elk Grove Village, IL. The tenant is an airline cargo handling service that is expanding its footprint in the Chicago area.
“Right now, it’s very tough to find a space this large within such close proximity to O’Hare,” Provenza says. “Vacancy rates are low and most of the buildings available are far less functional. At less than three miles from the airport’s north cargo entrance and with heavy loading, this facility was ideal for this tenant.”
Alliance Ground International will occupy the entire building, which boasts 32’ clear height ceilings, 57 exterior docks, two drive-in doors, LED motion sensors, and an ESFR fire protection system. It includes 25,000 square feet of office space in a two-story configuration and parking for 34 trailers and 186 cars. The building has excellent visibility with frontage along Busse Road.
Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chairman Britt Casey and Senior Director Al Caruana represented Duke Realty, the building’s owner in the transaction. Alliance Ground International took occupancy of the building in summer 2021.
