Darwin REALTY/CORFAC INTERNATIONAL NEGOTIATES SALE AND LEASE TRANSACTIONS IN NORTHWEST SUBURBS

(Elmhurst, Illinois) – Darwin Realty/CORFAC International Associate Matthew Lee has negotiated a new sale in Schaumburg and a new lease in Bensenville. Both were for businesses who were growing into new suburban locations, one from overseas and the other from another suburban location.

“Essential businesses are still growing and expanding, even as the pandemic wears on,” Lee says. “These locations are in business-friendly communities with prime locations for distribution, as well as for the companies’ customers and employees.”

In the sale, Lee represented KMP Holding LLC dba Ideal Auto Repair & Sales in its acquisition of a 5,000 square foot building at 555 Estes Avenue in Schaumburg. The auto repair company was relocating from another Schaumburg building and was hoping to remain near its former location to maintain its current employees in the business friendly community. The freestanding building was completely renovated in 2016, with improvements including new electrical systems, a new rooftop HVAC unit, and reinforced concrete floors. In the lease, Lee represented Alcowhiz, Inc. in its new lease of 4,165 square feet at 752 Birginal Drive in Bensenville, IL. The new tenant packages and distributes spices and spice blends. It is an established company overseas expanding for the first time to a U.S. location.

The 45,377 Square foot building has 14-foot clear height ceilings with one dock door and one drive-in door per unit. This lease brings the building to 100% leased. Brown Commercial Group’s Mike Antonelli and Matt Hanson represented the building owner, BBM, in the transaction.
