Darwin Executes Sale And Lease Expansion Transactions at two Dupage County Locations
Broker completes nearly 80,000 s.f. in transactions
(Elmhurst, Illinois – April 30, 2015) – Darwin Realty is pleased to announce that Darwin’s Jeff Provenza has completed a sale and a lease transaction in Bensenville and Lisle.
Jeff Provenza represented the buyer in the acquisition of 4900 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois, a 21,600-square-foot building on 1.6 acres. The buyer P&L Motosports, an automotive performance shop, needed to relocate in order to accommodate its expanding business. The company was founded in 2001. By 2004, the shop moved to Franklin Park in an 11,000 square foot facility. This move accommodates 11 full time employees, 5 automobile lifts and an engine assembly room. The location also features frontage along Route 53 and ample parking. The seller was Gulf Eagle Supply, which was represented by Brian Bocci of Entre Commercial
In another transaction, Jeff Provenza represented Chicago Terminal RR/Iowa Pacific in the new lease of 58,620 square feet at 794 Golf Lane in Bensenville, Illinois. The short-track railroad and transload operation firm needed the new space for an expanding business. The property, which totals 469,492, features an interior rail system, and is just west of O’Hare International Airport and the boundary road of North York. The landlord was TPG Capital LP represented by David Bercu and Jonathan Kohn of Colliers International.
